We have had an absolutely fantastic high season which is now transitioning into a slightly less intense phase, when schools in Sweden start and the summer holidays are over. We are open every day in August from 10am to 17.30pm and then from Sunday 1 September we are open from 11am to 16pm, every day until Sunday 22 September when we close for the season. After that we are open for bookings and conferences of course and all school holidays. Week 42 is school holidays in Denmark so we are open Wednesday to Saturday 16-19 October. Then we are open during the autumn holidays at the same time as Astrid Lindgren's World has an autumn market during week 44. (we are open from 26 October to 2 November from 11am to 16pm) It is great to combine a visit to the autumn market with a visit to us at FILMBYN.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our nice visitors in 2024! We are summing up another record season. Every year since the pandemic, we have increased the number of entrances, lunch guests and sales in our fine store. We are so happy about that as we are now planning improvements and development ideas for the 2025 season. Keep your eyes open! Soon we will tell you what news awaits Filmbyn 2025!
By the way, don't miss the Kalaset i Upplevelseskogen which we are doing in collaboration with Emilkraften, LRF, Centrumkyrkan, Korpen, Hembygdsföreningen and many more on November 10, on Father's Day for the third year in a row. A craft market and a lot of other fun are promised!
Warm welcome!
