Filmbyn is now part of the food destination SMÅLAND

Yippie! We are a TASTE of Småland. A letter came from Smålands Turism with the headline "Together we put Småland on the food map!". Part of the common concept that elevates Småland as the place where flavors meet stories. Our Meatball Starring SKOGEN with Alva's delicious Chanterelle Pasta is only becoming more and more interesting for food-interested visitors who want to complement the cultural experience "Stepping into Astrid Lindgren's films in Mariannelund" with food cooked from scratch with local ingredients. We pick the lingonberries and chanterelles in the forest next door. The meat comes from Norrby meadows and the pork from Glada grisar in Brantestad outside Vimmerby. The potatoes come from Axelssons in ABY in Hultsfred municipality. Our bread comes from Stjernberg's pantry in Mariannelund and our caramels come from Karamellkokeriet.

We are happy and grateful for the award to now be part of the flavors of Småland! Thank you Smålands Turism and the County Administrative Board of Jönköping County who run a food project funded by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Development. !

Today we are making 25 kilos of meatballs for the autumn holidays and our many conference guests in the future! And then we will put up the sticker that shows that we are part of the food destination Småland Strengthen Småland as a food destination – use our logo - Smålands Turism
