Filmbyn Småland is a result of the region's commitment and collaboration between many associations, companies and enthusiasts. In that spirit, we are building a meeting place.
Mariannelund Folk High School built a disc golf course in 2024 and it starts next to the Filmbyn parking lot. Basket number one is sponsored by Filmbyn and other local companies have supported the other baskets so that the folk high school could build the course. Filmbyn rents out disc golfers to those who spontaneously want to try throwing disc golf. Read more about the course here Mariannelundsbanan - Mariannelund, Sweden | UDisc Disc Golf Course Directory
The party in the Experience Forest organized by Emilkraften Mariannelund Citizens' Office is another example of local collaboration. Today, July 9th, we are gathering at Filmbyn for a first planning meeting for this year's KALAS which will take place on Father's Day, Sunday, November 9th. Then there will be LIV O KOLLIFEJS all day with a market, entertainment and the awarding of the Emil o Ida prize.
Spilhammar Camping Discover the magic of Sweden | Spilhammars Camping are our good neighbors. Many of the campsite's guests visit Filmbyn for several days to enjoy the scenery, have lunch, have an ice cream or visit the exhibition or play in the Adventure Forest.
CULTURE at FILM VILLAGE
We want to give local musicians a stage. Ramona and Felizia will provide lunch entertainment and celebrate Pippi's 80th birthday, on four Wednesdays at 12:00 from July 16 to August 6. HUNKY DORY will play with us on Saturday, July 26, and grilled hamburgers will be served by Restaurang Skogen.
Hope to see you at Filmbyn this summer!
