Season opening and news 2025!

On May 1, 2025, we kick off the season and inaugurate "When the Rumpnissarna meet Ronja". A new part of our Ronja environment.

Come and discover the place where Ronja and the Rumpnissarna meet! Together with the artist
Kaj Grönberg and our local company T-line have created an environment where you can step into the film's
world. Feel free to dress up in a costume inspired by the film, try on Ronja's winter hat and maybe meet a
Rumpnisse! By the way, did you know that Rumpnisse are born 350 years old and have four toes?

We also show Ronja's bed from the new series Ronja-the Robbersdaughter. It has moved into Filmbyn!

In the Bullerbyn environment at Filmbyn, the sledge that was used in the filming of The Children in Bullerbyn in 1986-87 has found its way to us. Kennerth Roth got in touch and told us that the sledge and two kicks were in a barn in Pelarne. Now they are at Filmbyn. A big thank you Kennerth for thinking of us and all our visitors who are now getting to share this original prop.

We are happy to present these three new pieces in our fine exhibition!

And we are grateful that the Nils Karlsson Pyssling environment got a nice fence during the winter that protects the nice original props. Anders Pettersson at Fagerängs carpentry in Lönneberga has helped us with that. He has also repaired the Pippi chairs in Pippi's kitchen and arranged for us to get a new rocking chair there because the previous one was "broken".

Also new for 2025 is that we will offer guided tours of the exhibition in Swedish, English or German at fixed times during July and August.
