Pippi will be 80 years old in 2025 and the German TV channel ZDF will be visiting on June 15. Our new German-speaking employee Andrea will be with our operations manager Ingela Nilsson Nachtweij to show them our beautiful exhibition. Of course, they will get to meet the Little Old Man in Pippi's kitchen. Getting to know the Rumpnissers next to the stone hall in Mattisborgen will also be part of our guided tour with the TV channel.
We also have two press visits in collaboration with Visit Sweden, Visit Småland and Region Kalmar. It is always interesting to receive journalists and there are many who want to come to us from different countries every pre-season. We are of course so grateful for that and look forward to how Filmbyn will be presented in various newspapers and magazines worldwide.
Filmbyn has a new website. Some pages are still under construction - please let us know if something is not working.
